Type Locality and Naming

The type section is at Shihuichang in Golmud City, Qinghai Province. It was named by Li Guangcun, Lin Baoyu, 1982, in Contribution to the Geology of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, (1), Beijing: Geological Publishing House.
